Support Services
Students at the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies have access to all services available to City College Students. The Division provides many of these services at the Center for Worker Education (CWE). However, there are some services for which a trip to the main campus is necessary. Students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of all the services available to them.

Library and Reference Services
Need to conduct research and don’t know where to begin?
Talk to librarian Seamus Scanlon, who provides on-site reference assistance to the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at the Center for Worker Education students. Services include help in accessing City College and CUNY library resources online

Academic Support
The Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at the Center for Worker Education offers individual tutoring in Math, Spanish, Writing, and Technology for CWE students. Talk to the receptionists at the CWE Front Desk or call 212-925-6625 ext 241 to schedule an appointment.
CWE Writing Center
The Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at the Center for Worker Education Writing Consultants are available to assist Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at the Center for Worker Education students with college writing and reading assignments. You may work on your class assignments in 30-minute appointments, which are often available before or after classes. All Division of Interdisciplinary Studies at the Center for Worker Education Writing Consultants have earned an MA in English or are currently enrolled as master's students in the CCNY English Department. Math Tutors

Spanish Tutor
Spanish tutors are available for students at all levels. Assistance is available by appointment and on a drop-in basis if the tutor is available. Contact the CWE Front Desk to check on availability or to make an appointment.
Counseling Services at CWE
The Division offers free and confidential psychological counseling services to students. These services are appropriate for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, or any other concerns or problems that interfere with a their general well-being. Career Center
The Career Center of the City College of New York is a centralized office providing programs and services to help prepare students and alumni for professional jobs and careers in a global marketplace. The Career Center is located in the North Academic Center. It serves a diverse student population of over 10,000 students and has active partnerships with more than 400 organizations in the private, public and not-for-profit sectors.

Wellness and Counseling Center (CC)
Having difficulty concentrating? Feeling a little apprehensive? Ever wonder when too much is TOO much? Need someone to talk to? The Wellness and Counseling Center (CC) offers students free psychotherapeutic counseling services at The Center. Psychotherapist Daisy Rivera, CS, bilingual Spanish/English) can help you come up with solutions, activities and plan to deal with issues/problems in your lives. The counseling offered is an interactive process between the therapist and the student. She is available at CWE on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-8PM. Writing Center
The CCNY Writing Center offers one-on-one assistance for students working on writing assignments and projects from across the disciplines. Tutors will work with students on planning, drafting, and revising -- all of the important steps in the writing process. Foreign Languages Department - Tutoring Services
The Department offers tutoring to any student enrolled in courses that need additional help. Tutors are advanced students who have been recommended by the faculty. The tutoring office is open on a regular basis. The schedule is posted outside the department office, NAC 5/223. Tel: 212-650-6731
Math Help Desk
The Department of Mathematics Tutoring Help Desk is located in the Marshak Science Building, room MR 418S. Tutoring is available for all math courses. Call 212-650 5346 for hours of operation.
Software Training Center
The Software Training Center (SC) was initiated in the fall 2003 by the Student Technology Intern Program (TIP) to offer FREE software training to all CCNY students. The SC offers training in all Microsoft Office applications, Pelican (general college E-mail application), Dreamed (web creation and management application), and software installations. In addition, students can learn how to properly install and remove major software, such as Microsoft Office applications. The Software Training Center is located in the NAC Building, Room 1/200.
