Students at the Center are eligible for a variety of awards and prizes at the College. Some are specifically designated for students at the Center such as those listed below.  Keep in mind that you need to allow plenty of time for professors and advisors to write letters of recommendation and that it is always their prerogative to decline writing such a letter.

New Website for Prestigious Scholarships

For students who seek nationally recognized awards and scholarships to further academic studies and burnish their credentials, The City University of New York has created a consolidated website and expanded campus-based guidance for major national scholarships and fellowships available at distinguished foreign and U.S. universities.

Scholarship information can be found at www.cuny.edu. The specific area of the site dedicated to scholarships was developed by James Airozo, CUNY's Director of Student Academic Awards and Honors. It is an excellent source of information about a variety of prestigious and highly competitive awards, such as the Fulbright, Rhodes, Marshall, Truman and Goldwater Scholarships, that attract top applicants from around the country.
