CCNY offers three options for those interested in a secondary science teacher certification program. Stream A is an initial certification plus Master's degree program for teacher candidates who do not have certification or a Masters Degree. Stream B is a professional certification plus Master's degree program for teachers who already have an initial certificate. Stream C is for teacher candidates who already have a Masters Degree but no certification.
Interested students should apply for admission to the School of Education. Contact Office of Graduate Admissions (212 650-6296) for details on how to apply.

This degree is intended for individuals with a background in science but without any certification or Masters Degree and want to be certified in the classroom as soon as possible. Candidates must be part of existing Transitional B programs such as New York City Teaching Fellows.
