About Dulce M. García
Prof. Garcia specializes in late Medieval and Golden Age Spanish Literature, Spanish linguistics, critical theory, and foreign language pedagogy.

She is the director of the CCNY-Spain Summer Program and the CCNY-Argentina Study Abroad Program, and received CCNY's “Outstanding Teaching Award” for 2007.

Publications

Espada, escudo y espejo: el lenguaje como tema en las novelas de Diego de San Pedro (1996).

Conexiones (1st ed: 1999; 2nd ed: 2002, 3rd ed: 2004, 4th ed: 2008), a college intermediate Spanish textbook published by Prentice Hall.

Two collections of prose poems: La tarea de estar (1999; 2006) and Adrede (2006), as well as several articles on Hispanic literature.
