Research Interests
- Electrophysiological studies of the interactions of neurons in rat forebrain neuronal circuits connecting the medial prefrontal cortex, amygdala and the nucleus accumbens. These are areas known to be involved in drug addiction.
- Characterization of neuronal circuit connections and electrophysiological properties of neurons in the lateral habenula and their possible role in regulation of activities of dorsal raphe nucleus serotonin-releasing neurons.
