Martha Ksepka, Sophie Davis Class of 2010, is a 2008 Sophie and Leonard Davis Scholarship winner.
The daughter of Polish immigrants, Ms. Ksepka graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School, Queens in 2005, bringing to CCNY a reputation for hard work, intellect and a strong motivation to succeed which is reflected on her inclusion in the Dean's list.
As a Leonard Davis Community Service Fellow, she’s volunteered with In Arms Reach. Another distinction was her selection as one of six student teaching assistants for the Health, Medicine and Society sequence of courses offered to outstanding second year students in Sophie Davis.
Ms. Ksepka is a member of the Christian Medical Association and the American Medical Student Association. In her community she’s involved with the Polish Scouting Organization, currently serving as troop leader for a group of Brownie Scouts. She also serves as a lector in her church and has for the past two summers volunteered as a camp counselor to deaf children at the Mid-Hudson Valley Camp.
Ms. Ksepka transferred to SUNY Downstate medical school in 2010.
