Schedule of Exercises
9:00 am Student Check-In & Line-Up
All students report to the main quadrangle dressed in academic regalia (rain locations are listed by College on the bottom of the Commencement tickets). Students check-in by their College sign and begin to form lines for the Academic Procession. Commencement Marshals will assist students. See the map for where your College will meet.
9:45 am Faculty Line Up
All faculty report to the main quadrangle dressed in academic regalia (rain locations are listed by College on the bottom of the Commencement tickets). Faculty begin to form lines to lead their students for the Academic Procession. See the map for where your College will meet.
10:15 am Academic Procession Begins
The Campanile bells chime, signaling the start of the procession into the amphitheater. Commencement Marshals will facilitate the procession.
10:30 am University Commencement in the amphitheater
Welcome by the Chancellor and other distinguished guests, student speakers, conferral of honorary degrees, Commencement speaker, awarding of doctoral degrees, and conferral of masters and bachelor degrees.
11:45 am College Exercises
College Deans will conduct their own ceremonies and call the names of each graduating student. These exercises mark the official end of the Commencement. See the map for where your College will meet.
