About CVPA Accreditation

The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in the six New England states. Membership in the association indicates that the institution has been carefully evaluated and found to meet standards agreed upon by qualified educators.

The College of Visual and Performing Arts is also an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, the national accrediting body for the visual arts.
