Network Security Laboratory

Description:

This laboratory serves the students taking the Computer Networks (ECE 469 and ECE 569) and Computer Network Security (ECE 489) courses. The computers are used to introduce students to current networking and security technologies through simulation projects in the areas of backbone design, layered architecture, protocols, LANs and WANs, internetworking, interfacing, and data transmission. An Internet Test Bed has been established in order that students experiment with attacks on and defenses of computer networks.
