Database and UNIX Systems Laboratory

Description:

This laboratory supports both undergraduate and graduate courses as well as several sponsored research projects from NSF and the Cranberry Growers Association.

The SUN Enterprise 450 Quad Parallel Systems are used as backend servers for graduate research activities, graduate courses, and undergraduate courses. The servers have a variety of compilers, database systems software, and simulation software.

The SUN Workstations link the 450 systems and are used primarily by students as graphical workstations for VLSI, database systems, and operating systems courses.
