Another Comical Essay on the Realities of college Life

The comic strip were created and written by Norman L. Barber, Director of New Student Programs at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. The strip appears weekly in the UMass Dartmouth student newspaper the Torch.

With years of experience in financial aid administration, admissions counseling and academic advising, Norm uses humor to probe the realities of college life on a level students can understand, appreciate and enjoy.

In March 1994, Norman Barber, Craig Rousseau and Jamie quinn were the recipients of the "Most Creative Orientation Publication" Award for College Norms: A Comical Essay on the Realities of College Life at the 1994 National Association of Orientation Directors, Regional IX Conference in Connecticut.
