First Year Residential Experience

College Norms - Trouble in Class?

Arrival on campus   New roommate   Change in parent's behavior?
Trouble in class? Choosing a major and class registration   The party scene
Year end, summer is here!

Ah well, there are more important issues in college then that. In fact, I can remember when Crystal almost dropped out of college because of her academic status. All throughout high school she never got less than an A+. But by the end of her freshman year, her parents were asking "What happened to our all 'A' student?" Little did they realize that freshman year is not simply grade 13. At times getting good grades can really be tough!

Fortunately, with support fromf friends like Rob, Sue, and the rest of the guys. Crystal made out okay.

Rob, my roommate, was a great inspiration to all of us. He had a special way of making us toe the line when it came to studying and all.

But don't get me wrong. Rob is a very bright guy and all. But like me he also had adjustment problems during his freshman year, namely - procrastination !
