UMass Dartmouth Research
The UMass Dartmouth research enterprise has grown from $7 million annually to more than $17 million over the last five years by creating knowledge that strengthens the economy and culture of the Commonwealth but also has a global impact. Research funded by the National Science Foundation, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and other public and private sources focuses on fields including marine sciences, economic development, homeland security, criminal justice, and others.
