IMAGE: Herrick-Pin In 1983, Dr. and Mrs. J. Arthur Herrick established the university's first charitable remainder unitrust, beginning a new era of philanthropy at Kent State. For their leadership and foresight, the university has established the Herrick Society for donors who have remembered Kent State with a planned gift. Herrick Society Pin
Through philanthropy, forward-thinking donors are helping to create a future filled with greater academic excellence and meaningful service for our students and the entire university community. As a member of the Herrick Society, via the Center for Gift and Estate Planning, members receive the benefits associated with the appropriate giving levels, including the President's Medallion Society (gifts and pledges of $100,000 or more) and the William S. Kent Council (gifts and pledges of between $25,000 and $99,999).
A beautiful membership pin also announces the donor as a member of the Herrick Society. It represents the deep appreciation and gratitude of the ultimate gift – preserving your legacy while impacting the future of our great university.
