2014-2015 KSU Annual Foundation Grant Program Application

Request for Proposals For the Kent State University Foundation Annual Grant Program

Kent State University has set an aggressive agenda for academic excellence across all areas of the university. The KSU Foundation Board supports fully this agenda and is committed to providing annual funds in support of the university's academic excellence agenda. With this goal in mind, the KSU Foundation is pleased to offer a university-wide grant program to all departments, schools, colleges, institutes and centers. The Board has approved a budget of $100,000 in grant funds to be awarded during the 2014–2015 academic year. A grant committee of the Foundation Board will review all applications and make recommendations to the full Board for consideration. Grants will be made to projects that have an impact on the quality of education offered to the students of Kent State University. Previous grants included support for the purchase of an IRT camera, funds to update technology and renovate a flexible classroom, funds to purchase equipment for various departments, support for the STATE student research project, and a nursing simulation lab upgrade.
