Math Tutoring

Drop-in tutoring is available throughout the day in the designated area on the First Floor of the University Library, and in the evenings at select residence hall locations:

Scheduled Tutoring

Students who would like to set up a schedule of regular tutoring appointments, can do so very easily simply by visiting the Academic Success Center in 207 Schwartz Center.  Sessions take place throughout the day on the Sixth Floor of the University Library, and are facilitated by highly qualified and trained peer tutors.

Advantages to Scheduled Tutoring:

·       Guaranteed availability

·       Most sessions are one-on-one

·       Regular weekly assistance

·       Tutor adapts to your learning style and pace

Drop-In Tutoring

Drop-In tutoring is available throughout the day in the designated area on the First Floor of the University Library, and in the evenings at select residence hall locations.

Advantages to Drop-In Tutoring:

·       Convenient access from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

·       Ask one question or study for hours, it’s entirely up to you

·       Check subject availability in advance

Online Tutoring

Students who prefer to receive assistance online from the comfort of their home or residence hall have the option of logging on to eTutoring. All Kent State students automatically have free access to eTutoring services by visiting the Academic Success Center.
