Masters in Business Administration:
The Full-time MBA at Kent State
What are the Features of Our Full-time MBA ProgramThe program stresses a balance between theory, application, personal growth and sharpening of “soft” skills. Our challenging and innovative curriculum, taught by outstanding faculty, provides a broad foundation across key business disciplines, as well as the opportunity to specialize in one of eight concentration areas.
Moreover, a Professional Development course series, along with many experiential learning opportunities outside the classroom, provide opportunities to apply knowledge to real-life business problems, and to hone communication, team-building, and leadership skills.
Participants progress through coursework as an integrated cohort and develop a strong sense of community and relationships that promise to continue long after graduation. To maximize the opportunities for interaction among students, faculty, and administrators (as well as between students and members of the local and regional business community), classes are kept purposefully small. Each entering class is limited to a maximum of 45 participants and, as a result, admission to this full-time MBA program is very selective.
Our full-time MBA is fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and is consistently ranked among Princeton Review’s 300 best. Yet it is among the most affordable degree programs of its caliber. Moreover, financial aid is available to those who qualify, and graduate assistantships are awarded based on merit.
