Schedule a Visit to a CCI School
Visit the College of Communication and Information at Kent State University to learn about schools, majors and activities you can participate in from day one as a CCI student. At Shadow Days, you'll hear about programs in each of the schools from faculty, attend a class, tour the school building, and find out about our living and learning community – CCI Commons.
Parking for all of the events will be in the Admissions, Schwartz Center Parking Lot. Space is limited, so please register early.
School of Visual Communication and Design (VCD) Shadow Days – Visual Communication Design and Photo Illustration majors
§ Shadow Days will be held Monday, Sept. 29; Monday, Oct. 27; and Monday, Nov. 24 from 9:30 a.m. to noon in Rm. 313 of the Kent Student Center.

School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC) Shadow Days and Tours – Advertising; Digital Media Production with concentrations in Digital Film and Television; Journalism with concentrations in Broadcast News, Journalism, Magazine, Multimedia, and Photojournalism; and Public Relations majors
Shadow Days: Get information on JMC majors from faculty, attend a class, tour Franklin Hall, and find-out about our living and learning community - CCI Commons.
Tour Days: Receive a 45-minute tour of Franklin Hall where you'll learn about the majors and see state-of-the-art facilities, including the video studio and control room, the converged newsroom and interactive learning classrooms and labs.
All tours start at 1 p.m. (and run until 1:45 p.m.) and meet in Rm. 201 Franklin Hall.
