The Office of International Affairs serves as a support system for all international students. It offers advising, orientation, off-campus trips, workshops and social events to meet other international and domestic students. It also provides resources for admissions, housing, financial and documentation questions.

Demographics: The city of Kent’s population is 28,000 and is 64 km from the city of Cleveland located in the Great Lakes Region of Ohio. The university’s enrollment is 38,000 students.

Major nearby cities include, Akron, Cleveland, Columbus and Pittsburgh, which offer a wide range of shopping centers, ethnic restaurants, concerts and professional sporting events. Cleveland’s Playhouse Square has the country’s largest performing arts center outside of New York City and features touring Broadway shows, concerts, comedy, opera, dance and children’s programming.
