Favorite thing about Kent State:
The students are amazing. They are always helpful, ready and willing to assist others in their quest to achieve their goals. The students continue to inspire me to come here even more dedicated to serve them.

Favorite book:
A Hope in the Unseen by Ron Suskind and Letters to a Young Brother:MANifest Your Destiny by Hill Harper

Advice to students:
Ask questions and do not let your pride get in the way of your success. You must make short-term sacrifices to reap long-term gains.

Favorite thing about Kent State University: There are so many things to love about Kent State. I can appreciate the sense of family on campus when it comes to students, faculty, and staff members. I also like how there is always something to do and ways to be involved either on campus or in the community.  It's no wonder why KSU is one of the top colleges in Northeast Ohio.

Favorite Book: The Heart of a Woman by Maya Angelou and Sula by Toni Morrison

Advice to Students: One of the most important keys to success is having the discipline to do what you know you should do, even when you don't feel like doing it.

Never lose sight of what you're here for.
