Students from any college or discipline can enroll in the Writing Minor. No course work in this program may be taken pass-fail.
Here's how it's done:
1. Make your declaration in your college first.
2. Come to the Writing Minor advisor in 206-C Satterfield Hall; bring the check sheets given to you by the college. You need to consult with this advisor, not your major advisor, about details relating to the Writing Minor.
3. You should plan to take a total of eight courses: Four core writing courses; three cognates in the theory and practice of writing; and the Writing Portfolio course. See Requirements.
4. Complete a Writing Portfolio.
