Catalog, Bindery, Database Maintenance and
Authority Control Departments

The mission of the Kent State University Library’s Catalog, Bindery, Database Maintenance and Authority Control Departments is to provide timely and accurate description, online access and physical preparation to the Library’s collections in order to professionally serve the University’s information
needs.

We do this through cataloging, classifying, assigning access points, providing authority control and database maintenance and through binding, preserving, protecting and preparing library materials for patron use.

If you are having a problem accessing library materials, please use the Ask Us link to contact a librarian.
