KSU police officers respond to emergency situations on campus. KSU Police Services is also a great resource for individuals who want to talk to an officer about options for reporting a sexual assault.

Individuals who have been assaulted can receive many medical services free-of-charge, including treatment of injuries, screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, a pregnancy test, and emergency contraception.

Licensed psychologists can assist those individuals who have been affected by sexual assault (including victims, friends, partners, etc.) by providing counseling services, including crisis intervention and individual counseling. Victims of sexual assault will receive psychological services regardless of ability to pay.

The Women's Center has specially-trained staff who can assist students in crisis and connect individuals to the appropriate campus and community resources.

The Office of the Student Ombuds is available for confidential consultation in regard to sexual assault and misconduct. The Student Ombuds can provide assistance with navigating policies and processes and help with issues pertaining to housing, academics and the filing of student conduct complaints.
