2. Goals and Objectives:

MA 501 is an introduction to the methods of solution for ordinary and partial differential equations. Students will

develop an understanding of the methods and the extent to which they can be applied.

Advanced Engineering Mathematics, Sixth Edition, by Peter V. O'Neil. Price $119.

Homework will be worked on in groups to be turned in on Fridays.
There will be two Tests, scheduled depending on class progress.

The final is on Tuesday, May 1 at 8:00 am. It is a 3 hour test.
