Trace the steps of history through this documentary in the style of Ken Burns -- based on 500 archival photographs never before brought together and narrated by notable civil rights leader Julian Bond. The chapters of the documentary are keyed to the seven Walking Tour trail markers.
To view the documentary as you walk the historic site, either go to the May 4 Visitors Center in 101 Taylor Hall or go to the Circulation Desk inside the main entrance of the Kent State University Library (the tallest building on campus, next to the Student Center). Ask to check out an iPod on which the documentary is loaded.
You will use your Kent State Flashcard for checkout or fill out a Community Borrower form.
If you are part of a group, you are encouraged to use your own set of headphones with the iPod. You may also ask for a headset at the Circulation Desk.
Phone 330-672-MAY4 (6294) now to hear Julian Bond narrate the May 4 Walking Tour.
