The RN to BSN program is flexible enough to fit into your busy schedule. The program is offered online, in-person (at our Tuscarawas campus), or as a hybrid (50% in-person, 50% online).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Evidence of graduation in good standing from a state-approved associated degree or diploma nursing program; and
  • A minimum GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) for all completed college coursework
  • Verifiable registered nurse license in the state where you will complete your clinical requirements

50% In-Person, 50% Online

The 50% In-Person, 50% Online or "Hybrid" option is available at most of our regional campuses, including Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Salem, Stark, Trumbull, and Twinsburg.

  1. Apply online as an undergraduate student with a concentration in nursing. Make sure you select one of the campuses above when you apply. 
  2. Contact the nursing office at the campus you applied to and tell them you have applied to the RN/BSN program.

100% In-Person

The 100% In-Person option is only available at our Tuscarawas campus. 

  1. Apply online as an undergraduate student with a concentration in nursing. Make sure you select the Tuscarawas campus when you apply.
  2. Contact the nursing office at Tuscarawas and tell them you have applied to the RN/BSN program.

I have previously attended Kent State University and have not attended another college or university since.

You do not need to reapply to the University. To re-enroll, simply call the Registrar’s office at 330-672-3131 and let them know that you would like to re-enroll and begin taking classes for the RN/BSN program.
