Kent State University extends its campus community to the world of social media for information sharing, relationship and support building, marketing, listening and engaging in online conversations and much more.
These platforms are used to extend the Kent State University brand and foster engagement with current students, prospective students, alumni, and other audiences of the Kent State community with the following goals in mind: customer service, peer to peer assistance and communication and information sharing, including crisis communication.
Kent State's Web Team provides guidance and resources for social media administrators, as are they are building content, strategies, monitoring conversations and measuring success. Group training sessions are held bi-monthly. One-on-one support is also available to all social media administrators. Email Nicole Carlone, Social Media Community Manager, to schedule a time to meet.
