Professor Jerold Israel’s Childress Lecture, “Free-Standing Due Process and Criminal Procedure: The Supreme Court’s Search for Interpretive Guidelines,” will be featured in the Spring 2001 issue of the Saint Louis University Law Journal. He will speak April 9 at the Florida Free Speech Forum on the first three guarantees of the fifth amendment: grand jury review, prohibition against double jeopardy, and the privilege against selfincrimination.
