John Berry, former Director of UF’s Center for Professionalism, has been recognized with the American Bar Association’s Michael Franck Professional Responsibility Award. Berry is Executive Director of the State Bar of Michigan, where he has served since last November. “It is gratifying to know this award recognizes the importance of stressing professionalism in the law school experience. I am pleased with the award, but most pleased with the chances I had to serve this profession including, of course, the great opportunity to serve my alma mater, the University of Florida.” Berry was Director of the Legal Division of The Florida Bar for 15 years and Arizona State Bar for two.
