The UF College of Law ranks third — following universities of Texas and New Mexico — in the “Top 10 Law Schools for Hispanic Students,” as ranked by Hispanic Business Magazine (March 2002). Other Florida schools are Miami (#6) and Nova Southeastern (#10). In addition to academic and faculty stature, rankings are based on minority recruitment and retention (student/faculty), mentoring programs, student activities and associations, professional internship opportunities, career placement services, alumni, networking and financial aid.
