Carl B. Schwait

Schwait has been re-elected for a fifth term to represent the lawyers and judges of the 8th Judicial Circuit on The Florida Bar Board of Governors, the governing body for the Bar. Bar President Eugene Pettis (JD 85) appointed Schwait to his third year as chairman of the Board Review Committee on Professional Ethics and Advertising. The members of the Board of Governors elected Schwait to the Executive Committee of the Board of Governors.

D. Daniel Sokol
Associate Professor of Law

Sokol presented his paper “Policing the Firm” at the Harvard Law School’s Law and Economics workshop. Sokol presented his paper “The Transformation of Vertical Restraints: Per Se Illegality, the Rule of Reason and Per Se Legality” at Yale Law School at the Robert H. Bork’s Influence on Antitrust Law conference.
